It's a Boy!

A friend of mine asked if I would make some cookies for her daughter's baby shower, so of course I said yes. Cookies are my favorite thing to bake.

I made an assortment of different cookies.

If you are wondering how to do the letters. I printed the letters on the computer then placed parchment paper over the print out. Then I melted white chocolate and traced the image. While the image is still wet cover them with small white nonpareils. When your letters are completely dry flood your cookie and then place letter on where ever you desire.

I really like the little baby feet.

I didn't have a bib cookie cutter so I used a flower shape and then cut out a small circle out of the top.

Another Alabama Birthday

Roll Tide!! My husband loves Alabama football. His birthday is at the start of football season, so every year we always end up having a football birthday party. This year Jerome decided he wanted a plain coconut cake (nothing fancy he said) from the store. Well, I really didn't like the plain coconut cake from the store, so I decided to dress it up a little bit. I made a Roll Tide sign for the front of the cake out of white chocolate, and for the top I stacked up a juicy pile of red strawberries with white chocolate "A's" on them for Alabama. Spectacular! Well needless to say my husband wasn't surprised. He loved it! He got his coconut cake and I got to dress it up a little. It was a really good birthday.

I had some extra strawberries so I dipped some in milk chocolate with white chocolate drizzle, and then some more with the Alabama "A's".
